Ü b e r   T u r u x . o r g:

hope to see you there soon. They are to digital interactive media what autechre are to music. I'm glad you have the courage to represent the aesthetic of subtle geometric abstraction in an era where it seems impossible to avoid the extremist attitudes of popular culture. To lls7: you represent the ubiquitous philistine. If you really believe in what you're saying then say it in your own voice and use your own name. You're a coward and a trashy one at that.

The people who have worked on this site are truely misunderstood. They are to digital interactive media what autechre are to music. Sehr geehrte Verantwortliche

choco/lls7,
i tried to send you a mail but your address doesnt work, so i use this way.
i dont insist on getting only mails of admiration, but if you criticize me it should be useful, not just based on misunderstandings. then maybe i can feel thankful for your input.
about real job:
i have a real job, i dont get any money for dextro.org and turux.org (i put it there for free), nor do i get any art sponsorship. and i did hard and dirty jobs in my life.
about art/artsy:
im not sure what it means to you. one purpose of "art" (as a business) seems to be to make definitions of what art is (and what it is not), and to draw borders between people in order to gain some benefit/profit or higher position.
im not part of that. graphics is my medium of expression, more than words, thats all. i put my stuff on the net, thats all. i dont promote my works, nor do i raise my person, nor do i claim any territory.
about america/euro:
maybe its useful to distinguish between the people and the government.
i do feel respect for the soldiers who risked and lost their lifes in the war against nazi germany. on the other hand theres the theory that the american government places threats in areas which they want to gain influence over. i tend to believe that. we know that they knew whats going on much earlier than they admitted later. so if their only aim was to save peoples lifes they could have done it better/earlier.
now much shit comes from america (toxic food, cigarette ads, hard capitalism, war against drug users, stupid violent movies...) so that its difficult for me to feel thankful.
i think its unlikely that the american government does anything that wouldnt serve their own benefit/profit.
and i think the "freeest country in the world" and the "best democracy ever" are illusions.
about cannabis/driving license:
i was stupid to complain about that, and i apologize to all people who have more serious problems.
however, the fact that alcohol and tabacco are legal and cannabis is illegal almost all over the world is not a minor problem in my eyes.
i should have put it into different words...
